CT residents pay 6% sales tax unless they have a resale certificate number and submit it at the time of purchase.
How long will it take items to be shipped?
Twenty four hours after payment is received, unless it is paid by personal check in which case it will take 10 days to clear.
What method is used for shipping?
Most everything is shipped USPS Express mail unless otherwise requested. You will be notified of additional charges if your shipping address requires otherwise.

Do you have a return policy?
Yes. You must notify us by phone or e-mail within three business days after receiving your item. Please be careful about reading descriptions, every attempt is made to give a completely accurate account of every item offered for sale.

What are your payment methods?
Credit card: Mastercard, VISA or Discover are all accepted. You can call by telephone directly to our store. Call 860-528-2181- 11:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. EST or anytime on the store voice mail. Also you can pay by cashier's check, personal check, items will be held 10 days before shipping. The first 300 dollars of insurance is free. Please call or e-mail with ordering information. If paying by check or money order, please make either one payable to: J.H. Anderson and remit to: J.H. Anderson Inc. 1015 Main Street, East Hartford, CT, 06108.

Every attempt has been made to give a complete and accurate description of each item offered for sale. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, returns will gladly be accepted if we are notified within 24 hours of receipt of the item(s) either by contacting us by e-mail at info@jhanderson.com or by telephone at 860-528-2181 to arrange a return. Items must be returned in the same condition as shipped within 7 days of receipt. They must be returned packaged as received in the original packing materials. You are responsible for return shipping and insurance. Your refund will be mailed within 24 hours of our receipt of the item(s). We cannot accept returns of jewelry damaged after your receipt due to breakage, distortion, loss of stones or other parts, or by application of testing acids or attempts to clean the item(s) using improper methods. Partial returns of matching sets or combinations are not acceptable.
Yes, layaway is available. Layaway is available for purchases totaling $100.00 or more. Layaways are for 60 days. The total order amount is divided into three (3) equal payments. Your first payment is due within eight (8) days of ordering. Second and third payments can be scheduled on an individual basis but total payment is not to exceed a time period of 60 days. Your initial payment will then be one-third of the "Total" for your order. In the event of a layaway being canceled after 30 days by the buyer prior to my receipt of the final payment, we will give you a credit toward a purchase in lieu of a refund.
